Random Acts of Kindness Week from February 6th through 10th

The Whiting Middle and High Schools are participating in the Random Acts of Kindness Week from February 6th through 10th. Each staff member will receive kindness cards. They will then "Pay it Forward" to students by lending them a hand and then giving them a kindness card. The students will then "Pay it Forward" as well by allowing someone, for example, to go ahead of them in the lunch line, hold a door for them, leave change in a vending machine, etc. Paying it Forwardâ will help Whiting students and staff show their kindness and eagerness to help others. At the end of the week, everyone will write down what they did to help others and what others did to help them. Those testimonials will then be posted for everyone to see.
